Ian Homer

Hi, I'm Ian Homer. I'm a software engineer with decades of experience of delivering a whole variety of systems. What has always given me the most satisfication is the collobarative ways of working and learning, that help us deliver software that we feel good about.

I'm writing this blog to share my ideas for tech and software delivery, and hopefully to help make it more accessible for others. Often the content is in a hands on style, to help you to explore the concepts yourself. A lot of this exploration can take place in light weight local environmants to make practice and learning easier. The blog has an initial focus on platform engineering, developer experience and observability, and will move towards topics on building sustainable systems.

I've not yet added comments support for this blog, however any feedback would be warmly received. You can contact me on LinkedIn or email.
